Marvel cover artist Guile Sharp teamed up with South African veteran writer and producer, Alan Hayward, to launch Dark Lion, a Graphic Novel, NFT, multimedia, and multiproduct franchise centered around the media-dubbed "Dark Lion" - A young, furious and vengeful vigilanti trained by the legendary warrior tribe, "The Banna ba Tau" - The Sons of the Lion. Lionel Leonard adopts the persona of the great cat and hits the streets of South Africa's golden metropolis, Egoli. But little does this contemporary, bone-breaking dark avenger know what the dark continent had installed for him all along...

The Comic Con Africa 2024 success story is now over 13 years in the making. Dark Lion, as an IP, was first a well-received contemporary epic origin, action-adventure movie screenplay, that became an internationally published novel, which grew to a completely developed 5-Part TV Series, which serves as the blueprint for the graphic novel, now on Kickstarter.
